New iPhone bug allows you to completely crash your phone by repeating one thing in Voice Search

As far as bugs are concerned, many are seriously annoying, but some are just damn right dumb, and this is the case for the latest bug on iPhones, even on the upcoming iOS 12.2 beta release.

Using just the Voice Search function, though ironically not Siri, if you search the one “hyphen” over 6 times, the iPhone will completely crash and re-spring the device … yeah, we’re literally talking about inputting ” – – – – -” via voice.

What’s interesting, however, it’s not affected by the text, just if you say it.

Apple have yet to respond to the bug, it’s not like it’s a harmful bug, or something that puts your security at risk, but it’s certainly an oddity, and we hope this gets fixed shortly.
