Apple adds 4 new Animoji characters in iOS 12.2 beta

Alongside the release of iOS 12.2 beta 2, Apple have snuck out a nice surprise for those fans of Animoji, by releasing an additional four new characters.

Animoji uses the TrueDepth Camera Sensor, meaning the service is only available on the iPhone X, XS, XR, and the latest iPad Pro.

The new Animoji include a Giraffe, Shark, Owl and a Pig / Warthog, which you can see in action below;

Apple will likely release iOS 12.2 in the coming month, with these Animoji included as always. Reports are circulating that they’re fairly buggy as this moment in time, so best they get their final tuning.
