Marriland: New Regions after Pokemon X and Y in Gen 6

New Regions after Pokemon X and Y in Gen 6?

Marriland’s Pokémon X Walkthrough

There have been several in-game hints as to visiting new regions, but I take a look at a VERY solid piece of evidence all but confirming the next Pokémon game(s) will take place in a new region (or in several new regions), thanks to the Pokémon X & Y Strategy Guide.

I also spend some time talking about the lore of the wars of the Kalos region. This provides a lot of interesting insight about what the next game(s) might be about. If you’re not interested in it, you can skip to 7:27.

What about Hoenn remakes? Could the secret in the strategy guide be referring to Hoenn? It’s possible, but given the fact the Backpacker in the hotels specifically says Hoenn is not the region he is talking about, it’s quite unlikely that this is what he or the guide is referring to.

And what about Zygarde? Well, while Zygarde was present in Kalos, it was at the very edge of Kalos, and may or may not play the role we think it might.
