Microsoft Surface Pro to compete heavily with Apple’s MacBook Air

 Surface Prices

Microsoft today have confirmed the release date for the Pro version of the Microsoft Surface, and one thing we found straight away about the Microsoft Surface Pro, specifically the 128GB version, was just how well it competes against Apple’s higher standard configuration 11 inch MacBook Air. Baring in mind for you’re money you’re getting a very impressive package for you’re money with the Microsoft Surface we think these prices are incredibly aggressive, especially since the ridiculous prices that came from Samsung’s Ativ SmartPC Pro topped well over £1300, which we think is just ridiculous and had fears Microsoft were going to follow, thankfully not.

*comparing the 128GB versions of both the Microsoft Surface Pro 128GB and the 128GB Standard MacBook Air in US dollars. Microsoft are yet to release international pricing for the Surface Pro, hence why only the Air has a UK price.
