Last Week

Last week was the week when I decided to take my purchase MacBook Air plan in to action, I started by selling my 2008 MacBook to my Mum and my iPad was sold to CEX, then I put some money towards it at the end of the day. One thing I was quite annoyed about was that when I got all the money I required to get the MacBook Air I realised that all banks were shut so I couldn’t order the Air until the next week onwards, luckily though my Dad intervened and got it off his card and I paid him back on the Monday after. The main reason I purchased the Air in the weekend was due to the Apple estimate of 3 business days, which would of worked out perfectly as I’m at College for 2 business days then on the day it was expected to arrive I would be home to pick it up, sound good, well we’ll see how that went later!

Monday 7th November

Monday was probably the most hilarious day I’ve ever had at College, and quite a productive one as I got quite a lot of Helens and Liz’ work done, although ended up being late for Liz’ lesson due to a fun dinner break with Clair who I found out is awesome and absolutely mad! Tom remained the insanely mad guy that he is, still now and then leading to The IT Crowd innuendos through the day and of course our amazing Sean Connery impressions definitely help the hours go by. I found an awesome Laptop case online at Zavvi for just over £10, which is absolutely awesome! Fits the MacBook Air, which I was waiting for, as well as all my College files, awesome! And, seen as I have it now, everything fits in it perfectly, it was destiny, it was just meant to be lol.

The dinner break was eventful to say the least, me and Clair had a right laugh in town, whilst Tom and another guy (can’t remember his name sorry), followed us behind, then later separated after we got my Sausage … Roll lol. Then me and Clair whilst roaming around the entire town, going to Argos, then going to CEX, then going to ASDA waiting along time to find out they had none, and so traipsing back to Argos again to find out that they had an offer on the product we were trying to get anyway, then having to run all the way across the town to rush on to a bus which was then late, and so that’s err… why we were late for the second lesson. All this was for Clair’s new iPod Touch, which she later found out in the afternoon required Wi-Fi to even set up and sync, so I helped out by using my iPhone 4’s Personal Hotspot feature for her, which she was err.. grateful for lol. Overall though a really fun day this one!

Tuesday 8th November

If on Monday I was living in an alternate universe, then Tuesday would have been how the day was, the complete opposite of Monday. Tuesday was an absolutely terribly boring day. For starters no one turned up, even Lynn which to be honest I wasn’t complaining about, didn’t turn up. After her lesson of absolute fun..ness with a teacher who acted as if we were all primary school pupils, it was time for another boring lesson, for some reason! I also managed to completely blag my way through a corrupted web file but still make it look like everything is working and fine. I wouldn’t mind but it was the incredible computers at College that led to my entire website been completely f***ed, so yeah, that’s why I’m bringing my new MacBook Air to College Mum lol. Which moves on quite smoothly to another one of the annoyances of the day, I ended up missed my UPS order, which by the way was my MacBook Air, even though my sister was willing to pick it up we never got a time! 11:52 ended up coming and missing it at that. So, the only viable alternative to get the Air was to wake up early the next day and wait all day for the MacBook Air and the awesome brown UPS van to arrive with the heavenly awesomeness that was the Air. But 9 – 5 doing absolutely nothing can be quite boring by yourself so I decided to post to FaceBook if anyone wanted to join me and make me company and was quite surprised to get a response from Jess! So was quite looking forward to Wednesday, if not for the Air, but for the amazing randomness of the day ahead!

Wednesday 9th November

The day to receive the MacBook Air 11 inch had arrived. Last night I posted to FaceBook whilst at College that I’d be waiting 9 – 5 waiting for the Air, and so if anyone wanted to join me they could, and Jess of all awesome people decided to join me. So I got up quite early, my Dad woke me up before he set off to work, and the waiting began. Jess agreed she was going to return up after 10, so I had an hour and a bit of waking up time by myself. Watched a bit of YouTube videos that only I like, had some Corn Flakes, which amazingly is the first time I’ve had Corn Flakes in weeks … for some reason, very sugary and helped a bit with my starting to f*** me off cold. Then, she arrived and it began … slowly lol. That’s kinda how any of my days start, I’m terrible with introductions to a while is spent wondering what the hell we are doing. We ended up watching some random programs on TV, Jess found Poirot very amusing lol, and was very impressed by everyones moustache. We ended up watching a bit of Johnny English, I know, shocker. We would of watched some more programs but I was limited to things on my iPhone as the computer we were waiting for, we could of watched some stuff on the iMac, but 1. Its weird to ask a friends girlfriend to watch stuff in your bedroom lol, and 2. We might not even hear the van coming … the second reason was the one I gave. Gave her a notepad, which would be a nice gesture if my Dad didn’t just want rid of them lol, but fair enough, let her use one of my bedroom pens to draw a cover! Then, the Post Man came to the door, which was weird because UPS have no association with the Royal Mail, but it ended up being a tiny red parcel. With after 10 minutes of feeling my rather big package we both decided to get the contents out and play around with it … … I’m talking about the delivery, gees. It ended up being my Birds Eye Polar Bear, which is awesome, although like with the meerkat it led to a very loud aww. We had some dinner and some scones at my plash to make the Sean Connery in me happy, and the inevitable happened, 9-4 delivery (9-5 at home alone) and it arrived at nearly half 3. The MacBook Air arrived, which led to even Jess judging me a bit. Everytime I get a piece of technology I do a live unboxing on my amazing show, with Jess … enjoyed watching. Had a play around with the new MacBook Air, which I’m loving and writing this blog with, Jess had a look at my old MacBook, now my Mums computer, just because she’s getting a 13 MacBook Pro, which is the same form factor, nice to see everyone switching to the Mac. The day progressed further with awesomeness, then few minutes after my Mum came home she decided to go … Jess, not my Mum lol. Then, on the spot we arranged to go to Leeds the following day!

If you haven’t noticed, Wednesday was a long day for me lol. The day wasn’t over, when Rob rang and asked if I fancied going out. So, ended up at the pub for the night. For some reason I really didn’t enjoy the night, don’t know why, though it was funny to see Flash trying to eat some Curry Masters thingy that was the size of a human babies head.

Thursday 10th November

When Jess left the previous day, she asked me if I fancied going round Leeds, which to be honest if anyone else asked I’d of definitely said no on the spot, but I’d never been to Leeds with Jess before so I thought I’d give it a go. As expected it was a right laugh, what an awesome gal. She broke the rules of women…ness by going in to get some shoes and taking  … 2 MINUTES in the store, I know!!! One of a kind there man, what the hell? Later I also found out how not obsessed with the Joker, Jess is … yeah! The day continued around some epic randomness, I got my Sausage and we headed back. Unfortunately we ended up getting the long bus back, but to be honest that gave us time to create our all-new sign language for the Joker, Croissant, Passion, and more. Which despite leading to Jess doing her hyena laugh on the way home, which is incredible, ended up being the end of a great day. When we returned, we had a drink and that was that!

Then, Rob rang me and I was like, oh my god de-ja vu. This time though it was a trip down the duck, which was a bit meh, but fair enough.

Friday 11th November – Remembrance Day

On Friday there was only one thing on my mind, and that of course was my Friday chippies. Got up actually the latest I’ve woke up all week, and that was still before the afternoon, I’m telling ya I’m in need of so much sleep.  After my Friday chippies which may I say were amazing, it was time to go to the pub to see Kai again. I decided to walk with Rob to the pub and eventually met up with Kai and Jess. Overall was a pretty weird night, had a few ups and downs in the conversations front, but to be honest, mostly positive … I think. OK, dropping Kai when he decided to jump up at me probably wasn’t the best thing, but in all fairness that was the alot thing I thought he was gonna do it lolz.

Saturday 12th November – The Day Lee Died … nearly

Saturday was going to be the night Lee was to see Kai on his visit over, and yes it was to be at the ever so amazing Duck. We later found out that Jess wouldn’t be here this time around due to not feeling well, which is fair enough, sick of seeing her to be honest lol … it’s a joke!!! No, was a shame, but what can you do eh. In hindsight she didn’t exactly miss the most pleasant of nights, as we’ll get on to later. After a swift visit to Tesco which annoyed me as I was pretty much put on the spot to buy drinks, with the response of ‘oh, I’ll put a few in the Duck later’, which I wouldn’t mind but I rarely actually drink down their so wasn’t impressed with that at all, especially as money is tough at the moment. But hey, eh. Kai arrived and it quickly became apparent, to Kai anyway, that we had a lot of things that when mashed together in to one drink could create alcoholic poison, so the man went to work and in comes the game ‘Bulls***’ (hint: that doesn’t say Bullseye lol). The card game pretty much comprised of … tbh I don’t really know, but at the end of it, Lee ended up losing the most, second being Rob, and me and Kai hardly ever at all so we had the pleasure of watching everyone else crumble. I always get worried when people get a deck of card out (unless its me on trick or treat lol), and I always fear pretty much all outcomes, but seen as I rarely lost, all was good, and this was by far the least threatening game … well, it was if you were in Lee’s situation but yeah! As the night progressed we were .. greated by a shock arrival (), which we were all honoured to see. Listen I’m hiding nothing here, we all know the situation, back to me pretending eh. Long story short, Rob still hasn’t found his balls lol. More drinks going down it quickly became apparent that Lee couldn’t handle Kai’s concoctions and even his Dad couldn’t either. The night resulted in Lee pretty much lying in his own vomit ruining his sofa, us rather amused and Kai, well all in a good days work lol. That’s one thing that will never happen to me that, when you drink its important to always know when you’ve had enough, and even though we all were pretty much drunk, which to be honest was an automatic reaction to even just one of Kai’s shots of death, none of those were anything like Lee. Amusing though, well prob not for Lee in the next morning. After Kai and Helen (it was her btw) had a suspiciously eri chat, the day ended, we said bye for now to Kai and that was that.

Sunday 13th November – Rubbish

Sunday was pretty disappointed and throughout the night I was thinking, god is this gonna be my week, last week was a really awesome week, don’t go away now! Sunday was very weird, I was invited out by Rob to the pub in which I insisted I was only having one, mainly as I had an assignment due in and I needed more of it done, but oh freaking no, I ended up having 4, granted 3 were bought by others, it became a much bigger problem later on. The night was very weird and awkward, a night with Rob, Helen and her friends … yeah, great! The night ended, eventually, and I went home to do the most latest ever homework I’d ever done, leading to my cold reaching probably the worst stages ever, yeah, thanks!

Monday 14th November – Just Make it End

Monday on paper was a great day, bringing my Air in Uni for the first time and everyone that made last Monday awesome were there, so what made it bad. Well, probably because I thought I had an assignment due in, I couldn’t spent more than 4 seconds without coughing and I felt absolutely dreadful. I know for a fact literally anyone else in my course would have pretty much said f*** that and stayed at home, which to be honest I wish I did to be honest.  Due to my intense coughing..ness, I was late to set off which actually ended up being a good thing as it meant I travelled (most the way) to Uni with my sister … ok I hear you ask. No, she had some miracle weird, awful spray stuff that numbs your throat and some Lockets, both of which just about got me through the day I know I’d of never got through otherwise, phew! The day started pretty well, everyone laughed at my new numb voice, to be honest the morning wasn’t the problem, it was the afternoon. In the afternoon, I found out that the assignment I thought was due in today wasn’t, it was due in Friday, and I’d more to do for it, so that annoyed me. Leading to a pretty pointless lecture from Liz, which I literally ignored, if I pass that lesson I’ll be very surprised. Spent most of the day playing Angry Birds and GTA on the Air, was not in any mood or state to do work, still couldn’t stop coughing, although felt a bit better after my sausage. At the end of it all I then travelled home to forget the day, but came home surprised to find at the end of a day of use, still 32% battery on the Air … I knowww!!!!

Tuesday 15th November – Today

Some amazing things happened today, someone in our class rang in to Uni to say he’d be late as he was stuck on the train, that took err… yeah, all day that, so yeah, work on that excuse for next time. Today was very average, got a lot of work to do for my first lesson, not too much to be worried, but definitely go some stuff to be doing, the second lesson was boring and pointless. But one thing I didn get out of it was that I managed to put my entire website (assignment one) on my Mac, so no worry of a stupid corruption like last time. SSD FTW! I also have every single GTA game now on the Mac, so amusement yeyy! One thing I am very annoyed about is the fact that I have to go in to Uni for literally 5 minutes just to hand something in, which is very annoying as that will cost me £4.20, so if anyone wants to do something please let me know!!! In searching for someone to join me on my Uni visit then probably for something after Jess arrived … who wouldn’t be able to join me tomorrow, but hey apparently she insists I watch Batman or else, so err… yeah, worrying movie day for Thursday. I probably won’t survive if I don’t like them, and there’s some pretty sharp knives in my kitchen. L

But yeah that’s … phew, just about it. Quite a big one this one, but hey, said my piece I think we can officially say lol.

Blog Sunday 16th October 2011

Since my last blog I’ve sorted out my finance and finally got my first payment, I know they didn’t half take their time. The main reason I didn’t add a blog last week was basically because nought happened … well stuff happened, but just not enough.

Uni

College … Uni whatever you want to frigging call it, is getting in to full swing and to be honest its alright to be honest. Just starting to get used to the 2 day weeks. There’s one course that I’m a big ugh on, but we’ll get there in the end. Interestingly enough was that I had a talk, one of those tutorial thingies, with the one that caused all the hiccups with getting on the course and she was shockingly nice, pfft, but hey move on from all that eh. She had a cut on a nose like someone had wacked her round face lol … I know! In one of the courses we’re doing a lot of presentations and so I decided to get a ‘Presentation Remote’, more on that later. We’ll see on Monday whether it works well, works fine at home. I was a bit let down that another one from last years course joined the course as it kinda means that I’ve lost a friend this year as it was Chris’ kinda bum boy lol. With that guy not here this year Chris was pretty awesome, but he’s back so err… ah well. What can ya do eh. ….. Starting to see why I didn’t add a blog last week are we, I had nothing! Oh, and I had the entire class doing amazing Sean Connery impressions last week, that was err… interesting. “14 nos and a yesh, is still… a yesh!!!”. What a man!!!

Johnny English Reborn

The day after it premiered we went to see Johnny English, and that was quite a lot of us actually. Me, Rob, Lee, Caddy and Jess went to see the epic film. It was quite fun actually, nice that Jess went to bring some err… difference to the Cinema experience, I’m talking obviously about her insane awesome laugh … yeaahhh, gotta love her eh! Me and Rob discovered that the Cinema actually had machines for buying tickets, I knoww, no queuing, awesome! Rob for some reason thought why not buy more than we need, but hey, he was paying. After purchasing some overpriced crap to have during the film, we entered the room to watch the film, and, to my review.

The film is an awesome sequel to an already great film, which is a lot cheaper now on iTunes if you want to download it conscious free. The film actually has a more James Bond style feel to it from the previous, but still with typical Johnny English comedy. I was at first disappointed that Ben Miller wasn’t going to be in the film playing Boff, but hey the new guy wasn’t bad suppose. I was also disappointed that the agent was called Agent 1 like the first, and his boss was called Pegasus, like the first one, not very inventive, but hey. The film was actually very good to be honest, sometimes sequels are rubbish compared to the original, but this is really worth watching, I don’t want to go too far in to the film to give it away from anyone who hasn’t seen it, but, its awesome! A solid 9 out of 10.

After the film we were all in a really good mood, it really was a good film, but then the night just collapsed to be honest. Rob thought it would be a good idea to go to the Casino next door, I don’t particularly like going, but I pump up to be sociable, but when I noticed that Jess didn’t enjoy it at all, and even Caddy wasn’t that impressed, it was just a real shame to be honest as it kinda ruined the night. After pretending to enjoy ourselves, we headed home, we first had a drink at the Spoons, but I wasn’t in much of a good mood after the Casino, and whilst they said otherwise I don’t think others were, it seemed only Lee and Rob wanted to be there.

But hey, if you ignore the previous paragraph, it really was a very good night.

The many trips out.

They were quite a few trips out mostly to Leeds, one was to get Rob’s amazing new Camera, which isn’t really isn’t that amazing. But wait, its got Dog Mode!!! … Yeahh.

Another trip out it was my turn to do the purchasing, I went to purchase a Presentation Remote, which was much more of a weird experience than it should of been to be honest, we got accused of … I actually don’t know what of, but this black guard didn’t half give us a weird look, one of the Remotes had obviously been stolen and obviously it was us, I give up sometimes, but hey, ignoring the random guard that didn’t really know what he was doing things went ahead and I got it. Then the day got weird when we went to the amazing Gallery of awesome, where we saw a dead sheep enclosed in a glass tube and some pretty terrible paintings … people pay for this?!! Had an alright Greggs after that, even though there’s about 9 in Leeds, only the one in the Bus Stations seems to be nice. But yeah, interesting.

We’ve also had some amazing, what I’m going to define as ‘Flash’ nights. When Flash gets his motor, we just go wild, literally, especially when Rob does his dancing, ooo hoh thats the guud stuff. I’d go on, but to be honest most of the nights end up being, pardon the pun, but end up been flashbacks. Pretty awesome though.

The Scones Chat up line.

Now as you know, my amazing Scones chat up line is absolutely amazing, but its yet to go in to action, well, last night it did and … well, I don’t really know how I’d rate how it went. I wouldn’t say it worked, but it definitely got a reaction … thats kinda my effect on women, nothing works, but it sure gets a reaction. … God. Quite a weird night to be honest, after we had quite an unexpected laugh at the Spoons, we headed to hell and actually enjoyed ourselves, I know!!! We went to the George and actually enjoyed ourselves, I don’t know how either. Night ended like usual with some sh***y chips. So, I don’t know what to make of my line to be honest.

Ought Else

  • Rob saw sense this weekend and ended what was pretty much getting unbearable. I’ll leave you all to guess what. Having said that, we’re yet to see proof, so, here’s hoping … for his sake!
  • The iPhone 4S came out and, whilst its good, not good enough, gonna be keeping my iPhone 4 till the next iPhone announcement, unless I have a stupid turn and make the big mistake to try out Android again. If you’re an existing iPhone 4 user, you might want to check this out!
  • Steve Jobs, the legend that was, unfortunately died at the age of just 56, the Apple co-founder was a visionary for the entire technological world and will surely be missed by more than just Apple.
  • Whilst we were thinking of doing it, unfortunately we’re going to remain with the worst ISP of all time, TalkTalk. Why, because we pay less than £10 a month for unlimited internet and we’re not increasing that to a stupid £40 with BT, especially when its still capped, ridiculous prices on BT.
  • I got the latest Little Dragon album this week and its pretty awesome actually, so get Ritual Union … NOW!!! lol. Yeah, quite a good album, bit weird, but weird people like me like weird music.
  • Speaking of music, Gorillaz are now 10 Years Old, congrats to 2D, Murdoc, Noodle and Russel, but probably mostly to Damon Albarn and Jamie Hewlett.

Well, thats about it, nought more to report, or ought of interest. So yeah.

Blog Sunday 2nd October 2011

Since my last blog … well, not much has happened, which is good as I can’t really be assed typing much today, so woo about that I suppose.

College

College this week has been a bit less annoying than last week, mainly due to the fact that I didn’t have to spend my back up fiver on a trip of a pointlessness to a University to do exactly what I did last year, no lie. But hey. No, it all went pretty smoothly to be honest, obviously starting to feel the increase demand of the course, but hey, I’m in a Uni course now, which begs the question on why I’ve titled this part as College …. tell ya what, next blog onwards it will be titled Uni alright, good.

Monday was alright, nought special, just alright lol. I didn’t at all enjoy my first lesson purely due to the Book we’ve to work through throughout the year, this time it was installing an OS, oh joy, never done that before, pretty boring but looks like things will get more interesting and challenging on that lesson through the year. Then in the next lesson we got on to some other stuff which was made easier due to some software we had, it led to some work to do at home, oh the joys, but hey what ya gunna du!

Tuesday was interesting to say the least, me, Chris and Clare from my course ended up randomly been told to do a presentation to test our presentation skills. This wouldn’t be annoying, but this was the day I started to get a cold and my voice had died, so… thhhanks! Without my voice I don’t have my mo-jo, which probably explains absolutely blowing it at the start and forgetting where I am, kinda like the Sony President on MacWorld a few weeks back (link), that was me! Luckily Chris recovered the presentation and the ending part I did alright. Luckily my voice is coming back now so if we get prompted suddenly for another presentation then I’m ready … probably won’t happen now. Least out of it all, got 2 great friends now.

Rest of the week

This week I went to Tesco with Caddy to get a Photo from the Photo Machine which is now FIVE POUNDS!!! Either way, couldn’t do it that day as it was more expensive than we thought and it needed to be in coins. … So next day I did it and got it, yey! Except it wasn’t because the chair jammed that you put higher so you can sit on it, so the photo is me been stressed because I’m standing awkwardly, woo, pfft.

Also saw Lee for a bit, had some of Rob’s left over cans from the Dinner Party, which was fun. Watched prob the weirdest awesome Craig Ferguson episode with the sound effect lol. Was alright.

This week has probably been the worst week for weather ever, I hate warm weather, and especially hate warm weather in Britain, so 30c in the UK is extreme. Had to get my own chippies on Friday as my Mum and Dad have had another week off this week, which is so annoying because it means there always in the way, ugh. But hey. Had some lovely chippies.

Graham Coxon

Anyone who knows me know I’m a pretty big fan of Blur, I mean the band have been around my whole life, there debut album Leisure came out in 1990 for godsake and their latest single ‘Fool’s Day’ was released in 2009 so they’ve definitely been around my whole life. Their main guitarist Graham Coxon has been described as one of the best guitarist of his generation which is really accurate, even Noel Gallagher said he was an amazing guitarist! But when Graham left Blur in 2002 before Think Tank and came back in 2009 for the reunion, he’s been releasing solo albums. I’d heard ‘Freakin Out’ and I wasn’t that keen on it, prob cause I heard the live version, but I decided to look through his back catalogue, he’s got 9 albums, where did they come from, thats as many as Blur and Oasis have, he makes music quick. Got his entire back catalogue of albums and there’s some really good songs man, he’s awesome. So yeyy, another artist to get the “All albums and songs” on my iPod.

Saturday’s Journey

On Saturday things were interesting, got woke up by Rob on the phone, which is always the way I love been woken ……….. yeah! Anyway, we ended up going round Leeds, which was alright, really fancied a Sausage Roll soooo much, but had no freaking money, ugh. But hey. We went round Leeds looking at stuff, had a look at the 11 inch MacBook Air, thinking of getting that next year to be honest as a much more portable notebook, but a portable notebook that works unlike those crappy netbooks, prob not until February next year like. Had a look at some tablets as well, long story short, Android tablets are awful, the Playbooks too small, and the crowds were around the iPads.

Rob ended up buying a Camera, for some reason. The Camera has many features including ones you’d expect, HD recording, many exposure settings, USB connectivity, SD storage and all that good stuff, then it has just insane features like …. Dog and Cat modes. Oh yes, the camera automatically takes a picture of a dog and a cat it sees, it works as well, Dog mode worked on Rob’s dog and even Rob so the mode works lol.

Then the night progressed, we ended up going round Cleck, quite a lot joined us actually, I was wondering whether to invite Jess out as she’d been mentioning she’d like to hang out with us, but ended up not, I’d rather invite someone out who I could buy a drink to be honest and I was still skint, shame. As the night progressed we had Rob (for a while), Caddy, Lee, Flash and more, quite a group to be honest. At the end of the night it was just me, Lee and Flash, or was there …. DUH DUUUHHHH! Thanks to Flash’s experiment we ended up joining Tesco Bernard lol and crew, yeah that went well lol. We were 3 quiet ignored folk one the edge of a table full of chatters, FAIL moment. But it did lead to Flash turning in to Jeremy Kyle for a while. Yeah, interesting. Anyway, night ended like many with some sh***y chips, this time got by Lee, thanks Lee. And that was that!

Ought Else

  • I was suppose to get my first, well everyone was, finance payment by last Tuesday, guess what, haven’t, which is very annoying to say the freaking least as everyone is unexpectedly skint for the course, and the first one is kinda the most important one so you can get started. So if I don’t get it by Monday its time to complain and inquire on what the hells going on eh. Wouldn’t mind, but as soon as I do get paid I’m gonna have to pay loads of people back as because I’m completely skint I’ve been having to scrounge, oh how I love you Student Finance, pfft. Mean what I say, Monday we’ll all see then.
  • One thing I found incredibly interesting this week was ticking a box in iTunes for my iPhone 4 which changed a lot of things, the “Convert higher bit rate songs to 128 kbps AAC” option is incredible. I’ve a 32GB iPhone 4 and it was in its last 1GB, music took up nearly 16GB, I enabled this option and boom, I suddenly have nearly 8GB free, thats amazing! I could double my library with this setting turned on, and I’ve 1400+ songs now! The great thing about this feature is it doesn’t change the higher bit rate songs on your Computer, so definitely try it out, its a great feature. And, 128Kbs AAC is about the same quality as 256Kbs MP3, yeah, starting to like AAC aren’t we. Quality wise even in my headphones I couldn’t tell, all this feature has given me, is more memory! Go for it.

But thats it for now, till next week eh.

Blog Sunday 25th September 2011 – This is a Big One

OK, it might have been quite a while since my last blog, but my god it hasn’t half all happened. Not only have I lost my course place due to the most stupidest of excuses ever, undergone complaints to get it back and ugh so much more, I’ll get into that later. But I’ve we’ve also lost one of our group. Also probably some of the worse yet oddly possible chat up lines, oh the lolz on that one! As well as more house hang outs, dinner parties, and well, more!

The Lee…ness Continues

In my last blog I mentioned how I’ve pretty much been doing nought but going to Grandad Lees house, which don’t get me wrong has been awesome, and yes the madness continues. Performed some more music, which is always epic. Watched some more Celebrity Deathmatch, still the only good thing on MTV, we watched the awesome Robert De Niro with the ‘what’s a matter you’ Italian part. We watched the Charlie Sheen one as well, which lead to some pretty awful chat up lines, such as the amazing “wow, you must be tired, cos you’ve been running through my mind all day” and the amazing “Excuse me, can I have you’re number, I’ve lost mine!”. Oh ho that’s the guud stuff! Also “are you from the Caribbean, cos you’re Jamaican me crazy!”, for some reason I have to say that in an accent, still awesome thought!

Monday (12th)

This week has started interesting anyway, on Monday I ended up getting some brew down myself and ended up hanging round with Lee, Rob as well as some of Robs work mates, which ended up leading to getting rather …. bamboozled, let’s just say. Accidentally, well kinda deliberately spilt an entire pint all over Rob, which if anything was amusing! Was it deliberate Ben … well as much as I’d love to say it was, and how it would be pretty epic, it was an accident, sorry! Anywho, Rob, Grandad Lee … Rob again, his twin and a lass called Lorna and I had quite an interesting night to say the least.
After been out quite a while, they were all on about going to Robs house for a few (The new Rob) which I was against at first as I was feeling pretty tired and in all fairness had to get up in morning, more on that later, but all was well. Had a few laughs, not bad folk to be honest, hopefully Rob doesn’t poison them like he has to us and ruin their lives lol. One thing we all agreed on by the end of the night was if we ever had to sort Rob and the new Rob out, we’d just call Rob, nob ed, and the other just Rob, works out easy, and everyone knows which ones which lol. But yeah, interesting night, spent more than I wanted to, but what can you do eh!

My College Predicament

As you may or may not know, after completing my previous course at College I applied for a HE course (Higher Education) at the same centre. The course I applied for had a few additional advantages over doing it somewhere else, notably the only 2 day weeks, leaving time for a part time job for example, and the much lower tuition fees in comparison to Universities. Anyway, applied for the course, did the amazingly easy to use (pfft lol) UCAS system to apply for it, and during the holidays got a yes from both UCAS and the centre itself that the course was as good as mine. Anyway, after receiving a letter for the enrolment day, I turn up only to be pretty much turned away from the course tutor who, in her opinion, thought I was not ready for the course, I know! Anyway, obviously quite shocked by the new development, it turned out that she had been trying to contact me over the holidays to let me know about some new conditions … we got nothing by the way, but she claimed that all she got was an answer machine and doesn’t leave messages, which is quite frankly ridiculous. So, at the end of the day I’d no choice but to go home. I rang in to College to ask to talk to her and somehow persuade her to change her mind, thinking I was in the wrong somehow and/or thus circumstances happen often, but it wasn’t until I got some Careers help until I realised that wasn’t the case. The following week I went to see someone for some advise, basically to get some quick advise as next step was pretty much going to have to be a job, as it was waaay too late to apply elsewhere like she suggested at College.
Anyway, I went to visit a Careers advisor who quite frankly after hearing what had happened to me, couldn’t even believe what I was telling her and got some very interesting developments out of that visit. Not only had the College gone against its contract for denying a student entry in to a course after receiving a written confirmation, there was also some legal complications, ooo it had it all. I have to right now thank that Careers women, she was incredible and told College a thing or too over phone, I was like …. sh** lol, she was so demanding and controlling over phone.
Long story brought short, I was later contacted by the top dogs at College basically explaining due to the circumstances if I still wanted the course it was not in their rights to stop me enrolling and going on the course … funny how some people change their minds suddenly isn’t it. Anyway, I’m on now, we’ll see how this year goes won’t we.
It makes you think though doesn’t it, if I’d of done nothing they’d of got away with that, I truly believe they thought I was just gonna walk away, I couldn’t do that, if anything, due to how late they denied me entry I’d of been f***ed anyway. So there you go, learned a lesson their, never accept a no, fight for your position.

Attempted Burglary

So, if the stress of the problems with College wasn’t enough, on the morning I was awaiting a phone call from College about what the situation was on enrolling again, on Thursday 15th September, I’ll remember that date for two reasons now, I awoke to find my Dad said down looking in no way ready for work, which he would of been at that time, and a back door with no key hole anymore … well there was a hole, but no key placement at all. They didn’t get in, which was probably due to the technique you had to use to open the door as it was f***ed, but the one thing that would of stopped them even if the door was in working order was our jammers. Can’t remember why or when we first got the jammers, just some strong additional locking for the inside, we’ve got them on both the front and the back door and they saved anyone getting in, so yeah, can’t not recommend them enough. The Police think they were after car keys to steal the car, either way, who knows what they wanted, all we know is, they didn’t get ought. AND, where was Colin in all of this lol. It was the same day I went to College for my second enrolment which actually led to me getting on the course, at 3PM. We got the door fixed the day after on Friday, got a College timetable to start the following Monday and yeah, that was that.

Home Alone Week

If I’m glad about one thing, its that the attempted burglary didn’t happen the week after lol. But hey, one day after the door was fixed, everyone was off on holiday, and I mean everyone this time, both sisters and partners, Mum, Dad, the lot, thank you! This meant a whole week of purely no distractions and enjoyment. Things kinda kicked of instantly on the week off with a dinner party.

-Dinner Party

Arranged fully literally the previous day whilst at the duck at Grandad Lees, me and the crew were gonna have a dinner party. It was originally going to be filmed as a kinda ‘Come Dine With Me’ spoof, but that never happened, which I can’t say I cared about really. The day started with some preporations, purchased some more supplied of food for the event and brought them back to my house. The day didn’t kick off to a great start when I got a phone call saying Kai and Jess couldn’t make it which was a big let down to say the least, and was incredibly relieved when they changed their mind to come. So, it was me, Rob, Grandad Lee, Kai and Jess all facing my amazing cuisine.

  • The starter was rather basic and very simple to make ….. its Toast alright lol. If I may so myself, I think I make some pretty nice toast. Everyone seemed to enjoy the starter, although lets be honest, thats a pretty safe and normal thing to eat.
  • The main course was my specialty, Microwave Fish Fingers, yummy! 7 Birds Eye fish fingers in a microwave for 1:40 (on an 800watt microwave) each side, spend no longer than 15 seconds turning every fish finger around, then after the ping of the other side, your done, set! Sprinkle with salt and you’ve got a pretty nice main. Seen as I was serving for 4 and only had 1 microwave, everyone had 3 and a half Fish Fingers.
  • The desert was strange because Kai brought in a Cheesecake lol. But anyway, the desert I planned was of course, Scones! Lovely.
  • Drinks include Lucozade and …. no thats it. If you want to go to the extreme you can try what Kai had, a nice Lucotini, strong stuff that is! ……… OK, its Lucozade in a shot glass, but hey!

The rest of the night was great, Jess appreciated lets just say, my shirt and tie, I thought why not really lol. I’ve been trying out Windows 8 on the iMac on Boot Camp which Rob had a look at and tried getting on his crappy netbook. Then, we all had Scones whilst watching Craig Ferguson’s ‘A Wee Bit O Revolution’. The night was a success I thought as I did the look you do sometimes whilst hosting a night, looked around saw everyone laughing … OK it was at the stand up show, but ya know, the night felt a success. ….. or so I thought, we’ll get on to that later, don’t want to ruin my mood typing this. Anyway, when Rob, Kai and Jess had gone for reason we’ll get on to later as I said. Me and Lee decided to look through some things online, why not eh. We ended up watching some comedy to kinda cheer us up from what had happened, then spoke about that needed to be done. Aside from that, the night was great, thanks to those who turned up.

-Monday … might of been Sunday, who knows eh!

On Monday(?), Rob and Lee came down, mainly for some laughs, Rob apologised for the Dinner Parties rough ending lets just say, yeeahh! I decided to forget about it for the night. Had a laugh, few drinks which led to watching some of the worst songs ever in music video form on YouTube … which then led to the weirdest craze. We ended up watching Disney music in different languages, yep! It was pretty awesome to be honest. Then, Rob had to go due to work in the morning, then me and Lee continued finding weird random content like we always do, and that was that.

-College

It was sad that I had to go to College on a home alone week, and was quite nervous going their to be honest based on all that happened, but you know something, it wasn’t that bad to be honest. I know its only the first week, but had a pretty ok week to be honest. Ended up going to Leeds Uni on the Friday as whilst I’m no actually at Leeds Uni, I am a student based on the fact my College is partnered with them and I’m doing a HE course. Either way, quite a boring day, but hey, gonna get a Leeds Met card so I can use their facilities if I want, even if I never go their it gives me a nice Apple Store discount lol.

-Visiting my Grandma & Grandad

It had been a while since I’d last visited my Grandma and Grandad and I was pleasantly surprised when I got a phone call from my Grandma on Tuesday asking if I wanted to go to theirs for tea sometime in the week, to which I said I’d come the next day. And the next day after retuning all the TVs thanks to the big Digital Switch Over in the UK, I went and had tea at my Grandmas & Grandads. It wasn’t nice I’m sorry to say lol, didn’t say that obviously, but hey. It was very nice to see them anyway, ended up watching Midsomer Murders, phworr lol, then went home. I ended up going as well the next day, last Thursday, and happily had a lovely tea, had some bluddy lovely Yorkshire Pudding. Then after a few laughs about not been able to use an electric Salt dispenser, we watched some Billy Connoly on TV, love that guy. Unfortunately due to going to Leeds Met on the Friday I couldn’t come the next day, but they were just happy I’d come over as was I to be honest, I was great to see them.

-A Friday Drink and a laugh with Kai & Jess

Sounds like a crap movie title that lol. But hey, on Friday, after going to Leeds Met and had some lovely chippies, later that night I went out to pub to meet up with Kai for the last time in quite a while. When I arrived their, no one was their which annoyed me abit, the pub was busy and I was a bit late as well, but no one there, I was like … wwwell lol. But had a few walks up and down, then gave him a text, and like everything, as you try to fix something, it fixes itself, there they were. Had a few drinks, which happily they bought most of lol, and just had a really good laugh. Completely forgot the name of the other guy that came and chatted with us for a while, but he seemed pretty awesome, but was soon gone. We left the Wickham which we were at for quite a few, then stopped off at the always last stop, the Spoons. Had a few their, been it Friday it shut later, which was great as the night was going so well to stop at 12, was a shame though when it had to end, mostly as it will be a good while till I see Kai. and I’m not sure about Jess. I told them about seeing Johnny English Reborn, when it comes out in the Cinema, and that we were all planning on going together when it came out, which Jess said she would love to come with us, so we’ll have to arrange that. Well, until next time eh Kai, who knows may see Jess before then, would be nice.

End of The Home Alone Week

And that was it, my week home alone! Had a really great week (considering the one thing) so thanks to all that made it a really awesome week!

The One Thing

Now, one thing that has been patterning itself throughout this blog has been the dinner party at my house had a one thing we said we’d mention later, well, welcome to later lol. Rob and his girlfriend, if you call it that recently have really been annoying the whole lot of us, plainly because, whatever is wrong with her, or wrong with them, she always has (only recently btw) this absolutely unbearable attitude, and she just turns up to ruin a whole night, it happened on Kai’s original leaving do, which was the main reason I invited Kai to my Dinner Party to try and to a take two, and guess what, she ruined that too. Think we’re all at the moment just thinking Rob get rid of her, he evidently doesn’t like her either recently, we’re all just pissed off at the moment with her, and all of Rob’s quite repetitive crap excuses on why its not over. So, there you go, a rough bitchy end to my blog lol. I think its fair to say I’m not speaking on behalf of just myself here. Now, I’ve had to put up with many friends girlfriends, or boyfriends to some women I know, and if I don’t truly like them I don’t show it and socialise for the friends sake, and I think most people are like this, but we all just can’t take it anymore, so you know what, we’re not!

Ought Else

  • To try and not end on a completely err… booyacasha mood lol, some pretty interesting stuff have happened recently, I’m still addicted to Jeeves and Wooster, in fact I’ll be watching another after this blog, bluddy love it. Prob not the language they’d use, but hey, times have changed, but it’s still amusing to see in to the past, and how can you not love the combination of Stephen Fry and Hugh Laurie.
  • I’ve also been trying out Windows 8 Developer Preview, did a blog showing you where to get it, its very different which is good, whether thats a good or bad thing you’ll have to wait until my first impressions review.
  • Oh, and seen as I can’t think of anything else to say, just to let you know my updated Peoples of Awesomness list comes in at the end of every month, so the 30th of this month, some interesting switches on their I’d expect.
  • And my Mum came back from her holiday in Mallorca, but came back with the most awful cat ornament, think she was having one of her moments when she thought it was a good idea to buy that. [Photo]

Blog Monday 5th September 2011

Well its been a while since my last blog, but hey, nought had happened that week. So err… yeah.

This week has been very Grandad filled, literally, I’ve seen more of Grandad Lee this week than I have anyone, I knoww!!! But hey, its been interesting. Multiple rock outs on Guitar Hero with my unique Paul Simonon inspired bass style. But hey, we didn’t half find some of the best ever crappest pile of rubbish ever, we ended up watching the most weirdest film ever, ‘Barberalla’, with the worst ever storyline … take that, french comics, and effects, and why are they searching for Duran Duran lol. Very strange film. And who can forget the amazing but pathetic Jamaican Cops where men get arrested for carrying drugs … fair enough, but also for carrying very dangerous weapons like …. scissors? Yeaahhh.

We did some quite amazing Guitar Hero lineups all week, but have fear people, you’ve now not just got to watch out for Damn Crows, but now for the amazingly titled and always underrated ‘The Flock of Lard’ oh yes!!!

Then at the end of the week it was the main event, OK the time might have swifted for another bigger event and much more important one, but we celebrated the 1 year anniversary of the Drunken Duck, ooo it had everything. More drunken ingredient, err… dry wipe pens with drawn ducks … ugh, what more do you want! lol. But the main event was the sad departure of one of my best mates Kai. Not to sound weird, so I won’t … yeah! But yeah, Kai has been a really great friend and its a shame to see him go, its his choice to like so that makes it better I suppose, but the groups really lost a great asset. Good luck with the future Kai anyway. What makes it kinda worse is that we probably won’t see Jess either, ugh, too much sad news man. But they’ve promised they will come around every now and then, which I hope they do, really great friends them two. Bit annoying Kai forgot his present like, but hey, hopefully give him it next time I see it, a Craig Ferguson stand up DVD by the way, one of the reasons why I love Jess to be honest, and anyone who respects and mostly understands the Ferguson humour. Gonna miss alot of laughs with that lot. But anyway, to cut a dreary story short, good luck you two.

In other news I’ve been listening again to Everything Everything, which are probably the weirdest band in my iPod, really though, their music is odd yet amazing. I decided to roll around for some b-sides and rareties. Ended up finding probably the best and weirdest Rihanna cover ever, awesome! And probably my new favourite song which is exclusively on the Japanese version …. I knoww, why do the Japanese get everything, pfft. But yeah, some really great music, embedded both those at the bottom, I mean why not, there awesome!

What’s My Name (Cover)

Wizard Talk

One thing that was interesting about the night with Kai was he asked us all what we all had planned for the upcoming year, and future really, which with most of us intoxicated he probably didn’t get the response he was looking for and got more the response you’d expect, a drunken one. But it got me thinking, I tell you I don’t actually know, and I do think thats a problem, but hey, suppose I want the same I’ve always wanted. All I want is to feel true love from someone, and to advance in education to decent work, like most to be honest.

Gets you thinking thought doesn’t it, what do you want to have achieved this time next year? Hmm. Really gets me thinking anyway. Ah well. Education starts on Wednesday with the induction thingy, so well, think that officially means the hols are over sadly. Been interesting suppose. Although 90% of it I’d like to forget and move on.

Blog Sunday 21st August 2011

Well, its been two weeks since my last blog which is already against the whole new schedule thingy I was supposed to be doing, oh joy I’ve failed already.

Who Needs Social Networks?

I challenged myself this week by going a whole week without social networks, in which I’m still in the middle of actually. Last Tuesday I thought to myself on why I actually use social network sites such as FaceBook and I came up with 3 reasons.

  1. Friends – We’re all nosy bastards really aren’t we
  2. News/Sharing – If I see ought interesting, a video, some amusing news I’ll share it, as do others.
  3. Love – When you fancy or love someone you obviously check out their profile all the time, but when there already with someone its no longer that fun to check out their latest lovey dovey statuses to some other twat thats likely gonna hurt them in the future is it, but hey.
Number 3 was likely the main reason I haven’t missed FaceBook and beyond, and lets be honest, most if not all of what your friends post aren’t that interesting. Friends either post something of interest, about their relationships which who cares. That they aren’t feeling well, in which you mostly don’t care and find it amusing someone is feeling worse than you are, but depending on who it is, parts of you care and fake support. That they are feeling amazing and happy, to which no one gives a damn, assholes lol. The rest is just utter bollocks, so yeah, love social network sites.

Well, the end of my week of no social network sites ends on the start of Tuesday to which I likely won’t care, but hey, interesting to think. How much to do you use social network sites, could you go a week without any social networks. Let us know in the comments.

RKUK Media

This week has been the big launch of all the RKUK Media services and I must say its all gone rather well, been posting a tonne of technology posts on The Tech Show which has been awesome, Pokemon Black and White is now scheduled on RKUK Media every Sunday at 8PM, and when it returns from the unfortunate land of re-runs in the US on CBS, we’ll have the awesomeness of The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson back on RKUK Media. Well, we’ve also got this unfortunately for you, yep, my blog, but hey, I know you love it lol.

Ought Else

Well, we’re still in the hols and unfortunately we’re all still pretty much skint, but we’re not letting that get us down … well I’m not anyway. I’ve been creating some more incredible creations on the iPad for the next amazing Damn Crows tracks, well I think they’re alright, but thats as far as its probably safe to go lol. But, there’s luckily been a few exeptions from the world of relaxing, sleeping, and doing anything you like …. sounds awful this holiday so far doesn’t it lol, but no, its always good to leave the house now and then, and this week I’ve been leaving the house to go all the way to …. another house at the bottom of the street!!!

I know what you’re thinking, you’re thinking, my god Ben thats a bit far for you, well, the main reason is Rob had the house free all week so we all took advantage of that. Although, nothing really happened like usual like, but hey. It wasn’t a bad few days, but definitely nought special, no offence lol.

Had a few trips to the pub, which we’re great, as a man its always good to have a pint. Used TESCO’s amazing Change Machine of epicness, got conned from it so Grandad Lee, as a worker of TESCO, threw some money in to even things up to a note, thanks Lee. I wouldn’t normally be bothered but it came out at £9.92 … I mean come on, make 8p add on pleeeeeassse, but anyway, Lee evened it out. Then me, Lee and Caddy when ter pub for one.

Apart from that, nought much to report really. I’ll probably to a pointlessly epic return to FaceBook on Tuesday and pretend that everyone has noticed I’ve gone and have missed me, when lets face it, no one has really give a crap, but hey what do ya know!

Well thats all of this incredible blogness. A personal blog from moi every Sunday … thats the plan anyway.

Holiday Blog Sunday 7th August 2011

Having not posted anything throughout the month of July you’re probably thinking my god Ben you are just taking the piss in the laws of laziness, well … kinda, but its the holidays so everyone is kinda occupied and of course I’ve been undergoing a massive revamp of the RKUK Media website so things have been a bit hectic but we’ll soldier on.

I know the holiday isn’t over yet but I thought I needed to add a blog basically just to remind people that I’m alive.

This blog is going to be as brief as possible, not only because I want to get this blog over with, and the fact I’ve forgotten alot of things, but because some things I don’t want to talk about too much to be honest.

Damn Crows

When it comes to life in the world of randomness we’ve produced some new epic tracks on the Damn Crows front which is awesome, the songs may not be in everyones mind, but I have to say the songs are getting better everytime, which probably isn’t saying much, but its saying something. I’ve made an interesting decision to cover a song by Mt Desolation as an upcoming B-Side, yeah, thats gonna go well lol. We don’t even know what the next single is gonna be or have any plans yet but it will happen soon, probably.

Love and Hateness

In the world of love and hateness, the last few months have been incredibly up and incredible down soon after, and the cycle has kept itself going on repeat mode. This has probably been a bit hard for me recently and has got me a bit stressed privately, the way I prefer to keep it hence the rather briefness of this blog. We’ve had the ultimate highs, spending time together and expressing love for each other making me the happiest man ever, some fantastic chats, just some of the best times of my entire life. And there’s been lows, which have made me the saddest man ever. This is what love does to you isn’t it. The mood right now is … kinda the middle, but ya know. I’ve noticed everytime I add a blog at good times it somehow jinxes it and something buggers up, so I’ve waited until we’re in a not brilliant time to hope that things look up in the future eh. Knowing my life, logic will notice what I’m doing and fuck it up anyway, but we’ll see.

Ought Else

Everything else has been typical holiday season, waking up late, feeling quite lazy, going oh god do I have to go out now, going out after and still thinking the same, but hey, had a few laughs suppose.

Joined Google+ as well, even though time has passed when they said it would go public and it still hasn’t. Have to say though, a month on, it started with a boom, made records, everyone was wow … but if it doesn’t go public really soon, then it will be forgotten! Even with Google behind it, it will be forgotten if they don’t hurry up. Anywho, my Google+ is here!

Revamped RKUK Media, been a big thing this actually. It took some time, but RKUK Media now looks a whole lot cleaner, content is delivered a whole lot better in my opinion. So RKUK Media is now much better for the visitors, but its also tonnes better for us. One big problem that was heating up on RKUK Media was the cost to run it. We spent way over $200 a year to keep RKUK Media running, thats approaching $20 a month. But, with our new revamp, we switched providers and we’re now paying less than $20 a year, now thats not even 70cents a month, so we’re obviously very happy with this. So to the future of RKUK Media I say.

Also got everything for the coming two years sorted as well, courses successfully applied for, money has been sorted, so everything is looking pretty sorted out at the moment. In fact everything is going pretty alright at the moment in my life, its just a shame that the one thing I would like to be going perfectly never does, but thats just life been its asshole self to me, and whether you believe in it or not, there is not a God in my life, if there is a God, he’s not paying much attention to me. I know that might sound selfish but seriously, some areas of my life have been hell recently and I have really struggled to keep going and put a smile on my face, I’d like to say things are getting better, and in some areas they are, but they are still some things really making me quite sad at the moment which I hope start to lift up soon.

==

Anyway, thats as brief as I can ever go, I will be back to a new schedule of blogs soon, which is gonna be interesting, but until then, thats all for this one. E-Ya Later

Blog Wednesday 29th June 2011

You know the term leaving it till the last minute, well, leaving it until the end of the month is how I obviously felt about this blog lol, but no I actually didn’t plan on leaving it this long, sort of just never got round to it, just like every single women on the planet has “never got round to” asking me out, obviously!

Anyway, in a few minutes I might start talking sense and get on to this blog, but at the moment, I’m just here typing folks, and don’t you love it … probably not but thats just the way I am at the moment. Thing is I’ve completely lost my voice and this is kinda the only way I can talk to people so YOU WILL LISTEN!!! … only joking … yeaah.

College

College ended surprisingly smoothly to say how much I thought I needed to know, once again we defeated logic and did an entire year assignment in a week lol, ya know if we kept that up through a College year we’d be finish by first term. But yeah finally done, just me and Josh alone in a room with Lynn, his turn to join me I guess … ooo lol. Only thing that causing me annoyance now is the chuffing Student Finance for the next course, I speak for everyone when I say that they are pretty slack, but less of that said online the best probably, but come on, should well be done by now, just them wasting my time. Hopefully we’ll get it sorted by the end of the week, by we’ll get it sorted I mean I’ll do there job as well. But hey, its needed, so we’ll all see eh.

Night at Lees … Night at Lees

Now there is a reason I put that twice lol. This week including Monday AND Tuesday I spent nighting it out at Grandad Lees, the first night it was just us two which was a bit weird at many times, but hey, not a bad night. Lee also enjoyed telling me all about the Dilan Moran and Bon Jovi gigs he’d been to over the weekend, much to my happiness … no it was alright really. We also enjoyed some amazing TV with the most inaccurate Top 40 sexiest women list I’ve ever seen, a crappy doctor program and classic ‘Don’t Forget The Lyric’. The following night there was me, Lee, Caddy and Kai which we all didn’t expect to make it, so it was nice for him to unexpectedly pop by. That night resulted in a bit of Guitar Hero with probably the best rendition of Feel Good Inc by Gorillaz on the planet, my vocals were rather epic! We also did Pokémon Monopoly which err… was interesting, like all Monopoly, Kai ended up winning. Kai ended up leaving first, then me and Caddy left afterwards …. quite afterwards … in fact about 6 hours afterwards lol, it was about 5am when we left, much to Lees happiness … or was it annoyance, can’t really remember! Two good nights anyway. Unfortunately they ended with me completely losing my voice.

Night at Robs

In holidays, there are many nights, this one was at Robs. Last week sometime, can’t really remember when like but hey. Night at Robs with Kai, Lee, Rob, Helen and James. It was a very unusual night, so normal for us. Thing is though, I don’t actually remember much about it, not because I’ve forgotten, just because not much did happen. We watched a few videos on the iPad, we didn’t watch TV due to Rob’s new ‘sociable sofa’, yeah, wasn’t a big fan of that night, it was … Ok.

Ought Else

-Had a few pub visits … I know surprise right, last one was last Sunday when everyone was setting off for Dilan Moran, I wasn’t going like but turned up to have a drink. Had an awkward hug by Kai and Jess, saw a certain someone be a bitch again, saw Lee crap himself when he thought his parents had found out about his smoking … wouldn’t mind but ya know, why is it a problem if you do or don’t, you’re not 5 years old, but anyway!

-As you know I’ve been writing lyrics for a long long time and always wanted to put them in to real music … then that didn’t work so instead teamed up with Caddy to create Debenhams, and then created a few B-Sides myself, well there is now a name for that project, ‘Damn Crows’ (Artist Page/FaceBook Page). Well the second single from that project will be released on Friday and completely created by me, with the exception of a fun last track I’m throwing in there. So yeah, look out for that.

-Now as love is never something that goes right for me, this week was nice because I saw someone get dumped in a tremendous way, its evil to laugh, but ya know what its nice to see someone else have shit in relationships to be honest, take that ya bastards!

-Oh and Craig Ferguson is back, waa-hey sorta thing. Yeah, goooood. CBS Cares.

Now I know what ya thinking you’re thinking Ben, you’ve likely missed a hell of a lot of stuff from this blog … well, no I haven’t really, I’ve missed out things that aren’t really that important to write about. …. Take that … not important moments in my life …… Ben isn’t that all you’re life … well, yeah, but … shut up!

Quote to someone: “For godsake just leave her, she’s a bitch”

Blog Sunday 5th June 2011

Since my last blog there’s been the holiday which is about to finish, err there’s been many trips out and more amazing musical ventures and more.

Trip to Meadowhall and A Curious Letter

A few weeks now but hey, still before my last blog. Me, Rob, Grandad and Caddy went on a trip to probably the most amazing thing outside of West Yorkshire that I regularly venture to, mostly because it’s the closest Apple Store. Apple for some reason decided to ignore the existence of West Yorkshire, but hey I digress. Whilst they were many conversations along the way, including the never ending nagging at Rob at getting a really crap phone lol, but hey. Went to the Apple Store mainly to check out the new white iPhone 4, which is most definitely thicker than the black one. To which the good ol Grandad Lee popped in to inform us all that he would soon be getting a White iPhone 4, good choice mate, thought you were gonna get somert like a Blackberry lol. The only people I accept to have a Blackberry are either very attractive women or people who have been contracted by a business company to have one. And no Rob falls in to none of those categories. Anyway, one thing that was annoying about going to the Apple Store at Meadowhall when we did was that it was just before Apple Stores 10th birthday when Apple completely revamped them with iPads, grrreaat. Anyway, whilst they had some dinner at some ‘trying to be posh but failing badly apart from the price’ restaurant, I went to McDs, common bloke me and always will be. Informed Rob about my using a Secretariat horse for his big day lol. But hey, an interesting day, atleast it was until we all seemed to be forced out by Rob, much to Lees enjoyment. But hey, the day wasn’t to end there though, we headed to a very raining Leeds for Rob to discover that banks are assholes, I know newsflash! We went to a few pubs, we also went to a pub that we visited on my birthday bash to much of my surprise I ordered a pint and hidden within my change by the rather beautiful barmaid was a advertisement but it had her name on it with a thanks and a kiss, so I was a bit … ya know about that. Unfortunately we didn’t have another there so I couldn’t tell if it was true or not but hey. It was pretty interesting to say the least.

College

College has been really really interesting …. OK it hasn’t but hey. We’ve reached that time of the year where all you’re doing is the same work again to get it perfect, but hey it’s been pretty interesting thanks to the awesome guys there. Aaron managed to walk in to a wall and injured above his left eye, which is hilarious and just speaks for itself to be honest. Met one of Aarons mates who is a combination of American and Polish, I know, a combination of oh and ugh, but hey, not a bad bloke. My motivation for College has been just going for the fun with the friends but that’s changed recently after getting closer to getting the next course sorted out all I kinda want to do now so main focus in this coming week is getting all the remaining courses passed and done and stuff, so yeah, unfortunately I thought this at the end of the hols, so kinda back to rushing, back to Coll tomorrow, but hey. Whatcha gunna do.

The Hols

Whilst the holidays are pretty much over, what can you do eh, some stuff have happened so err yeah.

Over at Caddys

The Friday before the holidays began wasn’t a College day so I successfully woke up err… late and well, ya know. But on Saturday ended up at Caddys which was interesting, especially due to Grandad Lees amazing time keeping, meeting him at quarter to 8 actually meaning quarter to 6, ahh, only Grandad! Kai and Jess joined us for most of the night which always makes it pretty awesome, there was also Flash there, who the last and first time I really saw him it resulted being in a car blurting out SCOOBYDOOBYDUU!!! full blast through a Tesco carpark lol, but hey! It turned out to be very awesome, recorded some pretty amazing stuff for our upcoming debut album lol, and some well, not so amazing stuff, but hey, some pretty epic songs to say the least. Nice to know that the place I always get my chips from knows who I am when I ordered my Chips over the phone they know all about my love of salt, which was pretty epic.

It must be love … right?

Not going to go into too much detail as I think the worst thing I did was tell my friends about the whole meeting up with a little special someone. I’ve always kept relationships anonymous between friends and have regularly lied to friends (sorry guys lol) to go on dates with women, which have all gone very very well …. Lol. But anyway, no one and I mean no one has ever made me feel as emotional as this individual does. It sort of annoyed me when I told everyone that I was meeting up with her last time just as friends and they made it out, well they were just stupid to be honest, but I think that we maybe meeting up for an actual date soon which is overpowering my heart at the moment. I’m scared shitless to be honest about the day we meet up soon, I just hope I don’t fuck it up as she means so much to me, more than anyone ever has, years of waiting and building up to, ohh man! We’ll all see I guess. So nervous, and it’s days a way yet.

Lee gets an iPhone

Dum duh duuuhhh, Grandad Lee has gone away from a conn Orange contract and an old Sony Ericsson to get a White iPhone 4 on Three. Which annoyingly means that I will likely get bugged for a few weeks whilst he learns to use it lol, no, there better than that, the easiest to use smartphone in fact. Only problems he’s been having so far is Three reception, we’ll see how it goes as you’ve got 10 days money back guarantee on a contract so if a network change is required make the decision to change soon rather than been left in a long contract, especially if it’s the network and not the phone.

Ought Else

Well the biggest one is WWDC 201 tomorrow where Apple will definitely introduce iOS5, Mac OSX Lion and the iCloud service, whether they introduce a new iPhone is unknown but unlikely, but we’ll see, only time will tell and a blog will follow.

Another pretty awesome thing I’ve found is an awesome version of Stylo by Gorillaz by a band that actually has Simon Tong in who has actually played live for Gorillaz, and Damons other two bands as well, Blur and The Good The Bad And The Queen.

I’ve likely forgot alot in this blog but hey don’t mind, tell me if I have.

Well that’s all for now, E-Ya Later

Blog Wednesday 11th May 2011

I know what you’re thinking ya thinking, well probably first I we really starting this conversation thing at the start of the blog, well yes on that one! No, you’re probably thinking, err, wow Ben a midweek blog, and yes we’re gonna see how it goes.

No, stuff has sorta happened really so err, lets get to it.

College

I’ve already expressed my feelings on how I think my College course is going which really isn’t worth talking about but this week has been pretty interesting so far due to the pure awesomness of people at College which is kinda what keeps me going to be honest.

Monday

If there is one thing I found out about Mondays today it was that the only reason I liked last week was because I missed Monday, seriously what is it about Mondays thats just so bad, well I have the answer, it all derives around Information Systems, just can’t freaking get them at all. Anyway, err, well, now I’ve unmasked that mystery for me, well dunno what to say now. Its true though, because if the perception that people don’t like Mondays as its the start of the week was true then surely I’d of hated last Tuesday, but I didn’t, ya see what I mean. And finding out I had an exam the following day didn’t really help my thoughts of the upcoming week ahead. But yeah, nought to say about Monday, as usual. Was good to see the awesomeness of College people.

Tuesday

College

Tuesday didn’t start too great to be honest, first off getting the wrong times and getting up late, then after rushing to the bus I would have taken anyway that bus not arriving so I’m 10 minutes late for an exam, yeah that could only go well right. Anyway, when I arrived late to the exam I noticed that things mustn’t of been going so smoothly and everyone was just about coming in so ended up arriving on time, then realised that Josh had sort of delayed the tutor abit whilst I’d posted on FaceBook why I was late which was pretty awesome of him to do. Despite arriving on the later than usual, on time thing to the test, I for one was not in the greatest of states as by rushing I wasn’t wearing deodorant (no one all day noticed though) and I’d had nought to eat or drink so yeah great right. The test itself oddly seemed to go quite well, which for me is a problem as everytime something feels like its going well its not, well for me anyway, its like sex lol. Anyway, we’ll soon see how the test went, hopefully I passed obviously, but ya know we’ll see. But it wasn’t the test that was the interesting part of the day, it was kinda after the test. When we arrived in to the next lesson, which the test we’d just done had kinda broke in to a bit timewise, the tutor was like ‘do you want to do this lesson or go’, erm, well, I think I’ll go tbh. We still did that lesson but in the afternoon instead which no one complained about, this lead to a 2 hour and a quarter dinner break, shueet. Went in to town with Josh and both Sams and just had a laugh to be honest which was great. Sam with a hat left us pretty quickly though as he left with some random guy, then me, Josh and Sam J had a walk round town. Josh then decided it was about time to purchase some what I shall called giggidy protection. Now, this is normally a proud moment for a man, as you’re basically saying “Yes I’m getting some”, but that feeling always seems to be dashed by the judgement of the people serving you, so going to Boots or Lidl was a no go, especially Lidl which if for any reason is the scene of the crime when Josh pretty much bashed his head open.

Anyway, we ended up going to ASDA, where the sexual innuendo just kept on coming, if not because when Josh decided to purchase his stuff from ASDA it had the cheeky Rollback smile on it, and he was like wow thats cheap, to which I responded with a loud “rollback!!!”, like ya do. Anyway, whilst travelling around ASDA we also found eggs that were quote on quote “Big and British”, which just kept the sexual innuendo going for even longer. Aside from that, Sam bought some Lucozade, I bought some very nice Shortbread, two for £3 Rollback! And, well, Josh went to the express tills lol. Ya see there is a solution to that problem folks. Anyway, when we left ASDA we had a walk back in to town, I got some lovely sausage … rolls, (sigh) and the innuendo continues. Anyway after having my rather very nice if I may say so sausage rolls, we headed back to College, which was quite sad to be honest as I really enjoyed that break, it was more like a day out than anything else, felt a shame to ruin it with lesson but hey. We took a bus to get back to College, Josh ended up going home due to “sickness”, I had some shortbread on the bus and me and Sam went back to College for the last 10 minutes or so of break. Met back up with Sam with a hat, then after that we ended up doing a few lessons, which dragged to be honest but hey, they ended. Only problem was I kept knocking my biscuits so the day ended with me saying “Oh no, my biscuits are coming out!”, which was amusing.

Ought Else

Well what else do you want on a going well day than to have two dogs fighting in front of you, oh how I long for that to happen all the time, Ben are you been serious, well obviously not. Yeah, that was the night following, just led to me being very tired to be honest. People ask me alot they say “Ben why do you like cats more than dogs?”, well the effort, the freaking destroying of all they see, and I don’t like been licked in the face …. by dogs, oooo …. Ben are you insinuating that you actually do like being licked but not by dogs but by something else probably sexual based … why maybe! … OK that was a bit weird lol. One thing which I got a fix off which I’ve been missing was some messaging and stuff from the lovely awesomeness person who can’t be named in my public blogs, oh gosh darn. Her Blackberrys broke down, just like I’ve said to Rob, get a proper phone, for Rob because err… he should, and for her because she’s not around the social landscape and available to chat to which I miss.

Other stuff that happened today was I released Selection 96 on RKUK Media, couldn’t get Craig Ferguson thanks to some problem, hopefully get it soon. UPDATE: Got Craig Ferguson on Wednesday, so two eps on Wednesday.

Today

Well today was like most days off recently, quite bland. Mostly on days off I either go out with some mates, that didn’t happen, or talk to someone I love … which thanks to RIM and there terrible products, that didn’t happen either … and no Rob I’m not talking about you. But hey, no dog fights today between Millie and Milo, although they did pop down, but in separate occasions. Anyway, least I’ve two episodes of Craig Ferguson to watch to day rather than one, which I won’t complain about at all, as its awesome, watch it whilst finishing off my Shortbread. Rollback FTW.

Well, that about does it for the moment, something I’ve forgotten to say in recent blogs, E-Ya Later … you’re welcome Chris Pirillo lol.

Blog Friday 6th May 2011 – Easter Hols, Emotional Breakdown and more!

Its all been a bit much recently if I’m been honest with ya. Well, we left off before the holidays which in many ways ya know were a bit too much to take, I’ll probably get to the reasons why pretty soon, but first I need to put some new batteries in my Magic Mouse, give us a minute … there we go, took about 20 odd seconds to do, some Duracell if you’re bothered! Hang on, that has to be the first live battery changing of a Bluetooth mouse to feature in a personal blog ever!!! … Nah, its Apple someone else’ll of done it, but hey, first for me!

Back at College

This week started pretty good as missing Monday for a bank holiday meant I only had two College days which was shweet! Tuesday was pretty alright to be honest, Josh wasn’t here apparently ill, which was annoying as I specially remembered my harmonica for him, ugh well. But to be honest I’d missed alot about College and realised why I kinda go, the people. Mentioned before how I feel about the course I’m on, we won’t go there again, case there watching evilly whilst wearing ski masks!

Thursday was a very interesting day at College though, Josh was here and immediately started coming up with a cunning plan to make the tutors get mixed up between and Sam with a hat. … OK theres two Sams at College, one wears a hat alright. And the hat was the same one, so it made it more convincing right? …. …. No. But it was fun watching them trying really hard to convince. Dinner time was when things got very interesting, for some reason Aaron never came out at College, so went down with Josh, Sam, Sam with a hat and some others. Bought some randomness from Lidl, well they did anyway, then hung around and had some laughs. Headed of in to town by myself after whilst I’d time to get some nice Sausage Rolls from the Greggs, whilst in town though who’d I bump in to than Aaron and a guy they were all looking for to called Danny, I know. Anyway, had a few laughs with those guys then walked up and we all met up at Lidl car park. Then it got very strange, Josh is very err… different the way he transports himself around and it didn’t pay of this time at all. Instead of going up some metal steps he decided to take an interesting climbing route, however this led to him actually bashing his head incredibly hard on a metal pole. Didn’t know whether to laugh or go Oooo, but when I saw blood, alot of it, I sort of started being sympathetic, I already crinched whilst it happened, oo makes me shiver thinking of that bang noise. Anyway, he ended up going with Sam with a hat to A&E at hospital, so that was an interesting morning then wasn’t it!

Afternoons on Thursday are quick anyway, and after nearly 2 hours the day was over, but hey, despite some Casualties along the way, OK one, had a very fun week to be honest! Fun but painful, more can you ask for … well Josh probably might ask for not having a bad headache right now!

Easter Hols

Minus the breakdown I had (see next section to get depressed) the holiday was a bit of a dim one. Not much happened during the holiday, but here are some of the highlights.

-We started filming for our upcoming Hutton thingy that keeps changing its name, me and Grandad Lee did acting, yes Lee did acting! OK, we only filmed about 5 minutes, but its not that bad of 5 minutes, and we’ve decided that the theme tune is going to be “Chill Anthem” taken from the Debenhams single, click that title text to get the single for yourself. The filming I’m not going to go in to, obviously we want to wait until its actually reached completion which knowing us could be years or never, but we’ll see eh. As usual with when I put news of possible film productions, they sound promising, then never happen, we’ll see if this one is different won’t we. My album following the Debenhams single, that will happen, probably late 2011 – early 2012 though, working some songs I’ve been writing through the years takes a while and I want it to be good.

-Rob’s Birthday occured in the holidays as well, which if I’m been perfectly honest with ya, as soon as I found out that it did I wasn’t happy, not that it was Robs birthday, but the fact that it took place in the holidays when I was just recovering from (see next section) and I kinda wanted to relax to be honest, it was the last week of the hols on a Thursday, I just wanted to sit at home and relax, but hey, went out with low expectations of the night if I’m been honest with ya. The birthday had a similar format as my 18th, but annoyingly no one decided to torture Rob like they did me on my 18th, bastards. But yeah, alot of people turned up, few faces I didn’t know, few faces I didn’t want to know and saw Kai and Jess who I haven’t seen in a while, and a while again as I’ve not seem them since that day … I lie, I saw Kai a week back, but hey. The night was actually quite a laugh to be honest, I always have a laugh with Jess, Grandad and Caddy (for the time he was there) were actually a laugh, never really spoke to Rob much which you never really do on birthdays but ya know, not a bad night. I was one of the few that ended the night earlier than the others who went of to Bradford to the Casinos, but I didn’t feel like it, or had enough to do so, so didn’t which I don’t regret at all to be honest. But yeah good night, needed that to be honest. I also ignored Rob’s relationship advise for reasons I won’t be harsh to mention, Jess mentioned the women from next section as well, but just said I didn’t want to talk about it and the subject was changed and we had a few laughs. But yeah as I said not bad night.

-House was free at Caddys again and me, Caddy obvously, Grandad and Kai, eventually Rob had a few laughs, all I’ve got to say about that to be honest. Found out Microsoft Kinect doesn’t acknowledge my existence, typical Microsoft eh. But yeah, had a few laughs, played Debenhams single on the Jukebox, pretty good night.

Emotional Breakdown

I kinda want to rush this section to keep myself in a good mood, and the pitch of this blog in a happy sorter reading way. … yeah! Anyway, the holiday was very uneventful to be honest, nothing really happened as in going out events weren’t interesting, OK they were a few, but for a holiday the “few” part was too big sadly, but hey. I was more annoyed that not enough stuff was going on because I could have done with many distractions over the holidays as I was pretty much doing what I’m good at, being crap with women. I am what I shall define as a “Sweet Ugly Bastard” when it comes to women, I’ll explain. I’m one of those guys thats nice to women, unless their chavs can get on with them … although if their chavs I sort of don’t get on with them in the way I avoid them at all costs. Anyway, what I mean by that is I’m nice and get on with most women, but when it comes to getting involved in something like a relationship is where I fail, and whats even more annoying about that is many women have told me that I’m a good flirter (I’m not in anyway) but not someone who’d they’d want to go out with, gee thanks! Basically what they are saying is you’d be a good boyfriend, but …. its you! Thanks a chuffin lot you bitches! Anyway, seen as I’ve been sort of noticed mentioning people with names before I am going to do everything in alias terms this time. Well, the holiday started with the women I’ve become SO CLOSE to finally getting what I’ve been dreaming about and wanting for over 5 years … her in a relationship being dashed again, but more worse with someone who is a twat I’ve known for about 10 years, I know, fun right. Whats even more annoying is that he claimed that he always fancied her and stuff when they used to hang out, all I’m saying right now is, back in those days he’s on about, when the women lived near where I do (which is also near where he lives) he never paid her a percentage of attention, if anything avoided her! Anyway, suppose I will always be this failure with all this love to burst out that will have to STAY concealed. Huh. The stupid thing about it even more was that she actually continued to flirt with me to and fro, was constantly having arguments with the one she was “supposed” to be going out with, then said she loved me more, and to be honest it all just annoyed me so much I just went in to a bit of a meltdown to be honest. Suppose the advantage of adding statuses and talking via text is you can pretend to be in a good mood through sites like FaceBook, but trust me, throughout the holiday I was concealing so much hate and depression. The problem is it wasn’t just from her, it was from consistent repeats of this same situation with one lass, then another, then another, and to be honest the main reason why I haven’t had a girlfriend in so much time … well apart from set point, what I should of said is why I’ve not been trying to get a girlfriend is basically because every single relationship I’ve hads been a failure and has actually made me quite scared of women. Seriously, there the one thing I love more than anything in the world but at the same time I don’t fear anything else more, and to be frank, I can’t take anymore heartbreak. What this time proved is that all the heartbreak, depression and sadness from previous relationships is struggling to stay concealed, you could say the bubble is truly about to pop any time soon.

She eventually saw through him and they broke up a week and a bit afterwards, reasons were not mentioned, but I oddly wasn’t in anyway chuffed about it or anything, why, because I knew that she wouldn’t turn to me. I wasn’t the reason she broke up, or if I was it didn’t show. She’s now going out with someone else, although this person, despite not knowing them, I know that they’ve known each other alot longer, or atleast are a lot closer and that both sides actually love each other which is ‘oh so freaking sweet’ isn’t it! I’m sorry, I really tried to carry that sentence to the reality, but come on, takes the piss. For the millionth time of trying to go out with her, failing, falling out, getting back again, we’re back to been friends. Oh joy.

I know what you’re thinking, you’re probably thinking stuff like Ben move on, well the fact of the matter is I actually love her, if you don’t know what that means then you’ve never loved someone before. Theres a massive difference with “Liking” someone to “Loving” someone. That always seems to get very mixed up with many people. Everyone I’ve said ‘I love you’ to in that order I genuinely have done, in fact I broke up with a lass … ooo its a few year back now, but we broke up because I couldn’t tell her I loved her, we were going out all fun and happy errr… thingy, but did I love her, no. There’s about …. wow, about, I know the freaking number, there’s two people in my life I’ve, well still do love. Both of which have bothered me, or made me happy or whatever else to make it into my blogs, but I will never stop loving them. Would I say I love the latest one more, absolutely, why, because we’re close friends, see her in person quite a bit, know where she lives! Its hard dude.

Took me a very long time to pack all that pain that we’ll probably never be in a relationship in to that ever f***ing growing bubble of emotional pain, and seriously I want to thank many people who’ve helped me get my happy up, oddly that comes from the people at College, seriously though thanks guys, even though I know you don’t read this blog, but seriously helped me through it and respect you alot for that, good friends man, especially Josh, which is actually his name, only women get alias’ in this blog.

Back to the present, and near the end of the holidays I saw her in person and we had a massive hug, didn’t say much but we’ve had chats and seriously she’s too much of a valuable friend to me to let this take me over, which is probably another thing thats helped me through it, I’m always here for her no matter what, I’ll always love her more than anyone else, and she knows that now and we’ve both ya know, dealt with it in quite an adult manor … I know, don’t get much of that do you! All in all though I do love her and always will.

Other things happening!

I know what you’re thinking ya thinking Ben I haven’t seen this before, well because its new and its a simple way to go over things quickly when my hand is tired typing.

Royal Wedding: Couldn’t care less, nothing I hate more than two peoples lives going so well.

Osama Bin Laden dead: Is he really, because proof is very limited and US stories keep changing, apparently the other side have confirmed it, but still seems fishy to me! If he is then, well, good. Only Beiber and Miss Black to go now, oh the lolz.

New iMac Update: These things are awesome, you can go up to 3.4GHz Core i7 (newest versions), AMD graphics up to 2GB, Ram up to 16GB, 2 Thunderbolt ports, 2TB+256GB SSD, and more, come on! Awesome

Little Dragon: Thought I’d mention that I’ve been loving Little Dragon recently, purchased both their albums thanks to featuring on Plastic Beach by Gorillaz and some of the songs are amazing, love em!

Vangelis Gift: My Dad had a Vangelis best of album CD when I was younger which I sort of stuck under my bed and snapped, but I found it and downloaded it and remembered how much I actually loved it. And actually now I’m more grown up I love it even more. ‘So Long Ago, So Clear’, that song makes me cry sometimes, OK it did when I was depressed with love problems, but seriously an awesome song.

Well thats ya lot to be honest, if you’re in a good mood you’ve obviously skipped that massive paragraph, had to get it out there to be honest. Anyway, till next time!

Blog Saturday 16th April 2011

I’ll be honest with ya I’m not in the best of moods whilst writing this, but hey, it’s been one of this weeks, don’t get me wrong this week has had it’s shades of awesomeness, but sometimes it just takes that one little thing to bring ya back to square chuffin one. But hey, let’s get on with it eh.

College
The last week of College till the holiday like all do dragged, well all last weeks till holiday do but hey anyway! The week was kinda boring to be honest, especially seen as all work to be due in by the end of the week was complete by Tuesday, although I was annoyed when once again I was told to do even more on my Program but hey thats this freaking course isn’t it. I have to be honest this course really hasn’t been for me, nothing about it, been crap to be honest, in fact the only reason I’m been deliberately late for the finance of the next one is the uncertainty of it been worth it, which is a bit of a pickle.
As usual, the usual shenanigans got me through the week, Josh and Sam and there randomness, and the other Sam saying he was ill then seeing him around Dewsbury hiding behind a bottle, oh ho lol. …. Yeah, oh ho lol, its a new thing I’m trying, by trying I mean just tried. Anyway week over, to the weekend and the hols eh!

Monday/Tuesday
This week my other sister got a dog ending up been called Millie, whilst my other sister has a male dog Milo, I know I don’t detect copying either lol, but hey. Been playing around with it now and then all week, suppose I’m quite good with animals, although I will always prefer to have a cat than a dog, simply because of the commitment you’ve to have with dogs compared to cats, but still love the little bastards.
Tuesday was very interesting as I got a friend request on Live.com, which as a Mac user I regularly visit lol. Anyway it was from Diza who I must’ve not chatted with for at least a few months lol. Anyway, had a chat of awesomeness, which always ends great as she is pure awesomeness.

Wednesday
Wednesday was interesting if not for the fact of it was a day off. But anyway, took the opportunity to have an hair cut, which was probably well needed. Anyway, had someone else cutting my hair this time, well seen her before, but she’s been away a while, but hey, despite looking like a failure stripper she did a great job … ITS A JOKE!!! lol … maybe. Anyway did quite a good job. Then went for some Sausage Rolls at the good ol’ Greggs. They were just the right temperature, which kinda annoyed me as I mean come on, who doesn’t like blowing some hot jumbo sausages then wiping the bits that have come all over the place lol. Anyway went home, had another awesome chat with the queen of awesomeness. But that was pretty much all that happened on Wednesday I’d hoped lol. ITS A … Ok its not, but hey. Ended up going out to pub with Lee and Caddy, least I think … yeah it was Wednesday, anywho, football was on and it was boring as shit. Although in the meantime me and Lee created a sarcastic laugh.

Thursday
Thanks to the College timetable of Monday, Tuesday and Thursday it meant Thursday was our last day of the week, which was great! And what more do you feel like doing on your last day, well I know what I feel like, sitting on an arm chair, get my iPad our, and chill basically, watch a few YouTube videos … chill basically. This wasn’t the case of Thursday, oh ho no. … Thats the opposite of the other ho oh, probably? … But yeah, on the way home, Josh and ironically someone else called Josh who knew a guy called S… forget it, anyway, they were both talking about asians on a bus home, yeah, sure, why not, anyway, there plans were dashed when two chavs said it was harsh lol. Anyway, nearing hometown and who should pop on the bus than Caddy, I KNOWW!!! Anyway, errr, put it this way, I knew from that second onwards that this wasn’t going to be a sit down and chill day, but hey, it’ll be fun right? Aaaaanyyyway, turned out he was off to Robs (who lives barely 10 houses below me, well by number anyway) I went home to go home, and ended up meeting them a bit later, by later I mean about a minute. End of the day I basically ended up walking, a lot! And buying Rob a pint, yeah, oh jolly good. It wasn’t though, for some reason didn’t feel in it to be honest, probably because I was wanting my chill.

Friday
Friday was one of those days, to be honest I woke up on Friday in quite a good mood, watched the absolutely awesome Craig Ferguson sketch when he goes to Vegas and I was in quite a good mood, then Caddy and Grandad Lee arrived, OK that might sound harsh the way I’ve worded that, but come on, just in the parts I’ve covered I’ve seen these guys quite a bit this week and I still haven’t had my day of chillness. Anyway headed out and to be honest had quite a crap day to be honest, met the gang in some crappy pretending to be posh food establishment, had a bit of a laugh there, then the day sorter just went downhill from there. And as I’m trying my best to cheer up my current mood up, I won’t go in to it any further. Had my chips at the end of the day, heard Lees amazing escaping and suicide attempts story of dreariness, which improved my mood greatly as you can probably imagine, so yeh was feeling freaking brill when I got home, god, gimmie strength.

Overview
Well all in all been quite a crap week to be honest, the guys at College and chatting to Diza this week are seriously all thats kept me alive this week, oh and Craig Ferguson. Seriously, if this is how the holidays are gonna be like then shoot me in the face, or just don’t ask me to come out guys, still happily have the last two of those three though.

In other news, Debenhams, the amazing single by me and Caddy will be released on Monday.
