Route 17 + Route 18

In this episode, I swim through Route 17 and then fight against some challenging Trainers on Route 18 on my way to the P2 Lab.

Accumula Town + Nuvema Town

In this episode, I check out Striaton City and visit the original trio of Gym Leaders from the place, teaming up with Cilan to take on his brothers!

Genesect Wi-Fi Event

(HELPFUL STUFF IN DESCRIPTION!) Here’s a look at the 649th Pokemon: Genesect! This is the final Pokemon in the 5th Generation Pokedex. It is only available on Japanese versions of Black 2 and White 2 as of the time of this video, and only from August 11th to September 14th, 2012.

The first 8 minutes show the process of getting Wi-Fi set up properly in Japanese. You can skip to 8:00 to jump directly to the Genesect action (Mystery Gift, P2 Lab, etc.), but I figure some of you may need a reminder of stuff.

Having trouble with your router? I CANNOT HELP (there are too many routers/configurations out there). But here’s a helpful link that may point you in the right direction:

» That also has error codes and what they mean, so look those up to help diagnose your problems.

Also try:
• http://192.168.0.1 or
• http://192.168.1.1 to see which connects to your router (Google your router’s model to find the default username/password in case you need to get into it)

THIS EVENT IS FOR JAPANESE VERSIONS OF BLACK 2 AND WHITE 2 ONLY! NO INTERNATIONAL EVENT HAS BEEN ANNOUNCED (as of 8/15/12), so please don’t ask “when is it coming in __(country)__” or it will just make you look silly, because no one knows. Probably 2013.

Also, if you haven’t beaten the game yet, you might be unable to see Genesect on Mystery Gift (I wasn’t able to on one of my versions).

Getting Black Kyurem

In this episode, I show you how to catch Zekrom, Kyurem, and then how to fuse them together using the Gene Wedge into BLACK KYUREM! If you’re playing White 2, you’ll find Reshiram and White Kyurem instead.

Elite Four (Challenge Mode)

Battling the Pokemon League Champion (first time) in White 2, using Challenge Mode to increase the champ’s team’s levels and give the Pokemon better moves. It’s a much better fight!

You unlock Challenge Mode after beating Black 2, and you can then activate it immediately, or, even more fun, you can send the Challenge Mode Key via IR to another copy of Black 2 and White 2 (you still keep the original, don’t worry!), so you can start a new game with Challenge Mode already activated. (Beating White 2 gives you Assist Mode instead, which weakens the Trainers in the game and makes it easier.)

Elite Four (Challenge Mode)

Battling the Elite Four (first battle) on CHALLENGE MODE, which ups their Pokemon’s levels, the strength of their moves, and even gives them an extra Pokemon, making the fight much more challenging.

I’ll take on the Champion in the next video (broke it up into two because the fights were quite a bit longer), which I’ll have up later today.

White Kyurem

The whole scene showing White Kyurem in Pokemon White 2, as well as the battles against White Kyurem and (spoilers in tags). IT CANNOT BE CAUGHT WHEN YOU BATTLE IT! You have to catch Reshiram and Kyurem separately after beating the game.

I’ll be continuing my Pokemon Black 2 Let’s Play after I finish the walkthrough on my website. It’s coming along very well and all I have left to write is Route 23, Victory Road, and then the Pokemon League, so I’m hoping to have that finished by the end of the week.

Plasma Frigate Passwords

This video shows you how to input the passwords for the Plasma Frigate in the Japanese version of Pokemon White 2, and should also cover Pokemon Black 2 as well. You need to input these passwords in order to proceed through the game, so this should help!

== HOW DO I INPUT THE PASSWORDS? ==
• See the “1/?” key when you’re inputting text? Tap the mode to the right of that and you’ll be given an English keyboard. HIT “SHIFT” FIRST (toggles Kana modes), and then type in the words listed. It should translate it to the Japanese characters for the passwords.

== WHAT ARE THE POSSIBLE PASSWORDS? (both versions) ==
• RESHIRAMU (レシラム)
• ZEKUROMU (ゼクロム)

• 7707
• 9909
*** You have to input the passwords later in the game in Black 2 than you do in White 2. Keep that in mind! ***
